TRAIAN 2.4 released on June 8th, 2004

The VASY team is pleased to announce that the TRAIAN 2.4 compiler is available.

TRAIAN 2.4 is a compiler for LOTOS NT, a language very close to the ISO standard E-LOTOS.

Version 2.4 of TRAIAN fixes two bugs:

Having more than 255 include files is now accepted;

The "variable clobbered by setjmp()" problem, which occured when using the Gcc compiler with optimization option, is solved.

In addition to the platforms already supported (Solaris, Linux, and Windows), version 2.4 of TRAIAN introduces support for Apple computers running Mac OS X.

Within the VASY team, TRAIAN is used extensively for compiler construction (see the overview publication). Five compilers (AAL, Evaluator 4.0, Exp.Open 2.0, NTIF, SVL 2.0) have been developed using the combined SYNTAX/TRAIAN technologies.
